Happy St Patrick's Day

Top of the season to ya' and other cultural stereotypes!

It's that time of year again where everyone has licence to wear green and grink too much Guinness...

Is anyone going to be attending a official parade or failing that, whats the best St. Patricks day memory anyone has?

For that matter does anyone genuinely know the history of the day, or is it just an excuse to get a little merry?
