Torchwood S2 debuts this week on Wednesday 16th BBC2 9pm.
I wasnt too impressed by S1, but S2 is looked a fair bit better, and Im sure a fairly large audience will join in for the first episode on the strength of Spike himself, James Marsters appearing as a mysterious fellow time agent of Jacks.
Fingers crossed The series will deliver on the promising trailer that has been shown.
The_Host The concept of 'All-You-Can-Eat' buffets has always appealed to me.

Alan Got a message from the Great Lakes Avengers, They offered me a membership but didn't accept... they're a walking disaster... Just don't make sense at all... the worst heroes of all time, To call thems
Is it wrong that I watched this episode and on occasion caught myself thinking "Now there was a line of innuendo they could've used..."?

mad "dont ask me to apologise if i get your back up, youre mistaking me for someone who gives a f*ck" - the dust junkys, nothin' personal
with the exception of the extremely well done star wars gag, i found myself bored stupid through this entire episode.
torchwood has always been the lesser of the 2 shows in terms of writing and caricaturisation - which is saying something, seeing as im comparing it to dr who! - but this was particularly dire.
and yet again, it looks like RTD and chums are out to ignore the general populace, not to mention a large chunk of the fans - instead, it looks like theyre going straight for the "bring your own 'ship" approach, rather than bringing us well written, well acted, BELIEVABLE (within the context of the 'verse) stories.
seriously guys - if i want pR0n, i know where theres a sizeable stash, all i need to do is go and find something suitable - but when i come home from work, all i want is some mindless escapism for a couple of hours.
