Don't think I'll beable to make this one seeing as it's the weekend before the T Party. But I'll see how much money I have nearer the time.

London Nos Night - Saturday 15 February
I can't be at this one - but no doubt there'll be plenty going as per normal
Nosferatu Night - a long-standing event organised and run by Sector 14 in London.
Place : Pages Bar, Page Street, Westminster, London (Off Vauxhall Bridge Rd, nearest tube stns: Pimlico/Victoria/Westminster)
Time : 5pm - 11pm
Cost : £ 3.00 a ticket, available on the door (unless otherwise specified)
Date : Saturday 15th February 2003
Nosferatu Nights consist of normally Buffy and Angel episodes screened around the bar, with a few excellent music videos thrown in for good measure. There is also a raffle each month with some great prizes on offer and if time allows, a quiz. Announcements for other Sector 14 events can usually be heard here first too.
When all the videos have been shown the DJ takes over and 'Party Time' begins. General mayhem (some call it dancing!) ensues, until closing time.
Some choose to 'dress' for the occassion, anything from vampiric teeth and contacts to full costumes.
A lot of Tangent21 members go along to the 'Nos' nights, and usually make a day of it, heading in the afternoon to the 'pre-meet' to meet up with other members and friends for drinks and general silliness. The pre-meets are fairly consistent in time and location, but it's worth checking the Meets forum each month for any changes.
It's a great way to catch up with all your friends, and Tangent21 members are always happy to welcome new people into the fold at the pre-meet, so if you fancy a day of madness come along, say 'Hi' and join us for a great day out!
If anyone is likely to be doing a pre-meet please can you post up the usual "where and times"

well i'm up for going if anyone else is an di'm up for a pre meet at !pm at the admiral too if anyone else is, but i'd rather not go alone

If I could get through the day on anywhere near a tenner I'd be at everyone!!!

Posted: 00:25 Jan 27 2003 Having lived right in the center on zone 1 (about a 10 minute walk from the corner of TCR and Oxford st) for four years I *really* hate being soooooo far out (a couple of miles up the M11), I used to be able to get to Virgin and back in less time than it takes to get onto the train

To be honest Peg, I only get by £10 because I take the bus (which I have a pass for because of work) & I bring my own refreshments

Fare evaders should be shot Or at the very least LRT should make *some* effort to punish them, rather than taking it out on people who genuinely buy the wrong ticket -- eg I got slapped with a £10 fine for a £1.20(?) ticket a couple of years ago when I didn't realise the one-stop journey crossed from zone 1 to zone 2; yet no visible effort is made to stop people from jumping the barriers, pushing in immediately after you when you go through the barrier, or anything else grrr...

Anyway - its far more comfortable taking the car - as if I take the train I have to taxi it from Victoria anyway
