T-Party 2005 - Roomie Thread
Some of you maybe familar with the T-Party hotel in Derby
Express by Holiday Inn

Wheelwright Way

Tel: 01332-388000
Room costs include breakfast and ample parking and are:
2 people £ 51.50 per room per night (ie £ 25.75 each)
3 people £ 61.50 per room per night (ie £ 20.50 each)
4 people £ 71.50 per room per night (ie £ 17.88 each)
You have the option of staying Friday and Saturday night which gives you longer to acquaint yourself with the attendees
Previous party weekends have seen members travelling all over the country the night before and getting together for a local night out

Posted: 01:04 Nov 07 2004 Right, this could get complicated. As i mentioned, i won't know if i can definitely make it until end of Jan/Feb time cos of going full time clinical at uni. I'm going to make every effort to be there though. So what i propose is we find another willing bod, book the room, and if for whatever reason i *have* to pull out, i'd still pay for my share of the room. Hopefully that won't happen though

Here i go again...
Been thinking that what i posted before about booking the room anyway, and me paying for it whatever happens probably isn't a good idea, don't want to be spending money on nothing *cries student!!* so i'm going to pull out of the room. Sorry Sydney. Just have to sort something out for myself closer to the time if i can go.

Can I remind everyone to let me know by email what type of room you require and who you want to share with on samphirette@tangent21.com
With only 8 weeks to go before the T-Party we will begin sending emails to those who have reserved rooms first to enable us to determine the block booking.
If you need to discuss anything else about the T-Party, or would like to look at options of paying by installments over the next 6 weeks, please let me know

The only way I'm going to be able to go is if I'm sharing so if anyone doesn't mind putting up with me it would be greatly appreciated.

As we are in the process of finalising the block booking with the hotel, today we have dropped most of the excess unused rooms from the booking. All rooms still awaiting payment are guaranteed and we urge that you contact us as soon as possible about these.
In addition, we have left only 2 rooms extra in case people are still deciding on requirements. After these are gone, if you do require a hotel for the party weekend, you will need to contact the hotel direct providing they still have availability.
