The G Party - Would you like to go?
Right, seeing as it looks as there will be no T-Party for sure in the first quarter of next year with the possibility of not having one for a further X amount of months after that, I'm arranging The G-Party!
What I want to do though is initally gauge the amount of people that would be interested. If there is enough, then I'll go down the funtion room and sound equipment route. If there aren't going to be many, then I'll look into a night out somewhere in the country rather than having a typical night out in London.
Personally I don't care who comes. It can be T21 members, other site members, your mum, your dad, your rabbit, whoever. The date will be late Feb/early March give or take a couple of weeks. This means the heat is on to get this organised.
A lot of this I'm doing off my own back, and with little or no help so all I ask is that you put the word out so that this can be made in a worthwhile and very memorable event.
So.. Over to you. Yay or Nay?
Mods - Any chance of a bit of front page promotion/cross forum linking on this?
EDIT - Also any posts stating dates that aren't viable or cities of interest would be appreciated. I'm thinking Birmingham, but that's open to debate.

What about considering Manchester? There's loads of stuff to do when teh party isn't on and cheap hotels won't be a problem. I also know a pretty cool place we could hold it (numbers permitting)

Manchester was one of the places on my list. But then from a travelling point of view i's a pretty big pain in the ass when it comes to travelling there. Looking at 3 and a half hours on the train from Central London (Which would make 4.5 for me personally as I would need to take an hour just to get into the city lol). Then there are issues for the people that are more northern. One thing it is safe to say is that it will not be held in London. I'm thinking I'm gonna have to make it a bit more central than Manchester. As nice as it would be, I don't want to put people off by making them have to travel more than others. Especially when it would be the majority that have to do all the travelling.

I'm hoping to get a date, and a town chosen within the next week to 10 days.
