Spike Milligan & Albert Einstein
Who would you like to meet from the past?
Twist on the previous 'who would you like th meet?' thread...
Who would you like to meet from the past? Guys and gals that are dead and buried, but if you could do a Bill & Ted and go time travelling in a phone booth, you'd go and have a chat to.
Personally, i can't nail it down to one person, but i'd love to meet Leon Trotsky and Malcom X.

That's far too eerie. I hate to sound a little doppy, but I just spotted this thread and was gonna say Albert Einstein too ...do I have to choose a new one now? Oh well.

In that case, my second choice would be to meet Dorothy Parker. She's my favourite author/poet
Kinda soppy but I'd like to meet my Grandad. I was only 3 when he died, so I never really got to know him.
I would also like to back and meet Graham's mother, so he could introduce me to her.
Getting all sad now so I'll be off

I'd also like to meet my maternal grandfather. He died twenty years before I was born, but he sounds like a wonderful man.
If I can also choose a historic character, I'd like to meet whoever masterminded the JFK assassination, whether it was Lee Harvey Oswald or not, just to find out the full story.

Mozart... I'd love to know if he knew the effect his music had, i.e. the medical and psychological benefits that have been found, and if so, how he knew.
Would love to go out on the town for a night with the original 'Rat Pack'. Man, that would be a blast
And dinner with Cary Grant would be rather heavenly

Percy Toplis would be interesting, what really did happen at the Etaples mutiny, and how much have they covered up?
Also my Grandad (I was 7 when he died)he was really interesting and I'm hearing everything second hand now. Going to fight in the first world war at the age of 15! They only found out when he was injured, his mum was pretty miffed putting it mildly. He was at Somme, Ypres and new Lawrence of Arabia when he was in the army and was a sharp shooter.
